The circle game* - Joni Mitchell

You guys know the famous pork noodle place near Taylor's Business School? Well, i'm gonna boycott the the man there who sells chee cheong fun!!!!

I ate there yesterday. After paying paying, he returned with my change - a stack of 5 notes of RM1. I put them into my wallet without thinking. Later in the night, when i pulled out my wallet to pay for something. i noticed that one of the notes were damaged!!! One side of it is almost 'erased' off. I checked it closely, wondering if it was a fake. It din seem so. It's just that the colour and printing on one side has faded off!!!!

I suspect that he knew it and stacked it carefully in the pile he was returning to me. Now why would he wanna do that??? Just to 'get rid' of a defective note? Save him the trouble? Earn one measly Ringgit???

Well, maybe i'm too hasty in judging him but i'll never eat there again. Anyways, the food wasn't too great and it was expensive!!!! More expensive than my usual small bowl of delish pork noodles!!!

What goes around comes around. If you wanna do something like that, surely you must expect some repercussion.

Thankfully, this (circle) principle works both ways. If you do good, there's a good chance that u'll reap good too. In today's world, dun expect it - but when it happens, it leaves a real warm fuzzy feeling in you.

Like recently, a brother in Christ sent me a very encouraging text message which helped me very much. I shared this with him and with the members of my BSF group. At that very time, he was feeling very discouraged and the reminder of his own encouragement encouraged him!!!

I could go on and on with more examples - but the conclusion is the same. One particular incident involved a sister in Christ whom i have not met face to face - and it was regarding something i shared with her years ago. So long that i had forgot all about it! But she shared with me about it recently and i was encouraged by it!

*One of her classics which i first heard as a small little kid and loved it back then. See, i had good music taste even when i was young! lol!
