Don't know what you've got (till its gone)* - Cinderella

Woo who?

Where did that line came from?

Yup, it's from Donkey in Shrek Forever After!!!!

I loved it!!!!! It was so so so good!!!!! I dun know why the critics were not to kind to it. I think their problem was that they had their own ideas of how it shud have been but because the movie was different from what they wanted, they did not like it! Well, too bad. That's the reason why they're just film critics and not film makers! Who cares what they want?

I dun. i just go to the movies - and enjoy meself! And movies like Shrek Forever After is just the movie for that!

What's there not to like? Great characters return (some very different!!!!)...

... great characters introduced...,

...funny lines (cat-tastrophe amd ri-donkey-lous!!!!!), hilarious scenes (think fat Puss in Boots trying to persuade Donkey with its large eyes, Donkey trying to woo the dragon with Lionel Ritchie's Hello) - and a nice story!

Yes, many have complained about the story line - and said it's too much like "It's a Wonderful Life". Well, It's a Wonderful Life had a brilliant story - so why can't they take a leave from that? At the end of the day, how many movies have really original storylines? Good vs Evil, Cop v Murderer, Monsters kill and get killed, Boy meets Girl, Underdog wins, Man vs Nature... you get my drift?

This may be a minor spoiler - so look away quick if you still haven't watched it yet and dun wanna know any small details - but i thought the story was nice and touching! Shrek goes thru the predictable married life and longs for the good old days when he was a feared ogre. So he does a deal with the crafty Rumpelstiltskin and ends up almost losing everything he has!

Sure it's been done before. And it's a cliche everyone knows - you dun know wat u've got until it's gone. But it's so true, isn't it? Dun we all take people and things for granted? And the way it was done in the movie was really good too.

And i really love the closing lines of the movie:-

Shrek: You know, I always thought I'd rescued you from the Dragon's Keep.
Princess Fiona: You did.
Shrek: No. It was you who rescued me.
