Well, Drogba was injured before the world cup. Ronaldinho and Walcott din even make it to the team. Ribery was in the dismal French team (did he even play? Can't remember - it was that forgettable).
And how about the main characters in the ad - Cannavaro, Rooney and Ronaldo, the 3 who had dreams? Cannavaro appearing in some TV show (sori, dun know wat it is). Rooney being knighted, beating Federer in ping pong and having babies named after him, Ronaldo having a huge statute of him built and appearing in the Simpsons...

Yeah, none of them had their dreams come true. they could not write a future that was what they wanted. Instead, they all leave with shattered dreams.
Coincidence? Ironic! But it was a nice ad, wasn't it? Still, Nike should have featured Messi and David Villa instead!!!!
