Heroes* - The Wallflowers

Alritee, then. I can't resist it but join in the hype. Truth be told, been wanting to blog about this for quite a while, ever since i caught this brilliant series in Colchester.

It's all over the papers - the biggest satelite TV event in the land for 2007! Tonite marks the premier for the series, Heroes!

I won't give out any spoilers (like someone who told me last Sunday that House could start jogging in Season 3!!!! Thanks a lot, mate! :-P) - but just me full endorsement - it's a really good series for a long long time. Some might find it moving a little slow - but to me, it is necessary to enable us to understand each character.

A word of advice - watch it like i did, not reading anything about it, no prior knowledge of the plot. And be pleasantly surprised by it, amused by Hiro, smitten by Claire, symphatise with Nikki... i'm giving away too much, am i?

Just one complaint - the opening credits, or the lack of one!!!!! No catchy theme song to hum or sing along. Nothing save for the pathetic view of earth from space and the name of the creator!!!!! *sigh*

*Song taken from the soundtrack of Godzilla, and used also in the brilliant movie adaptation of Moulin Rouge!
